A very good friend of mine is a light designer. Yes, apparently that does exist… Anyway, we have had this little fight for over a year now about light and lamps:
Is it better to have a great light but an ugly lamp or a mediocre (or normal) light with a beautiful lamp?
As you can imagine, I’m the defender of the classic, vintage lamp. Obviously… So since this fight has been going on, I have photographed every cute lamp that came across my way and sent it to him… yes, that is called provoking somebody. 
But it is an innocent fight, yet I believe that my choice is the best and he thinks his is the best… but when you see his flat, he has an art nouveau lamp in his bedroom… Come on! Who are you kidding!
